System
Our Safety Management System provides a practical solution, written in a user-friendly
format that enables the user to manage health and safety within your organisation.
The system also includes on-going proactive support.
Our Safety Management System includes:-
• Health and safety policies for all the safety activities of your organisation
• Documents for recording health and safety activities such as risk assessments,
inspections and employee advice
• Risk assessments for your workplace including those for work equipment,
water risk, fire safety and specific tasks
• Safety procedures for activities in your workplace and outside
• An annual review and update for all documents, policies and procedures
• Inspections and audits between annual visits
• Training for managers and staff
• Us acting as your competent safety advisors
• Telephone or e-mail support
• Regular news updates to keep you advised of changes in safety law or
best practice improvements
• Incident response, monitoring and investigation where required
The implementation of a new Safety Management System will be determined by
the size and nature of the client’s business. The normal sequence of
events would be:-
Phase 1: Information gathering – We
will visit your workplace to gather information
by carrying out a general hazard identification
and to produce a report detailing the way forward.
Phase 2: Development and Implementation – We
will develop policies complete risk assessments
and generate procedures specific to your organisation.
The implementation includes training of staff
and management and distribution of the staff
safety materials.
Phase 3: Further visits
and ongoing support – Risk assessments,
training and procedures should be kept under
review and updated regularly. Ongoing training
is provided and of course there’s the
support through e-mail and phone.
